While the 'earthier' elements seem to be where I gravitate to most, I am also drawn to watery colours. The tonality of the blues in this colorway, when combined with the vivid greens, immediately reminded me of the tale of the selkie in Scottish mythology. While most stories speak of female selkies, there are indeed males as well. A woman supposedly has to cry seven tears into the ocean/sea in order to make contact with a selkie male. Male selkies, in their human form, are supposedly extremely attractive as well.

** Due to the fact that there exists a volatility when dyeing, no two skeins are going to be exactly alike, and as such, when using more than one skein in a project, it is advised to alternate between skeins to ensure consistency of colour.

Care: Hand wash, lay flat to dry.

** Not all wolves see the same blue when they look at the sky. A number of factors may be attributed to this phenomenon. Tech savvy wolves, might, on occasion, blame it on their computer monitors. **
